FAQs

  • Do you rehome the pigs?

    • Yes, some of the pigs are the resident herd so will stay here forever, however most will be looking for new homes once they have a clean bill of health.

  • What is your adoption process?

    • Ensure you have the right set up (minimum for two sharing is approx 0.8m squared uninterrupted floor space). Please get in contact if you need help choosing the right pen!

    • Either fill in the adoption interest form on the website, message the Facebook or email us and we will send the adoption interest form over. Complete it and send it back, so we can match you with to the right piggies!

    • If you're a new owner, you may need to complete our pre-adoption quiz, and you can ask any other questions you may have on caring for guineas.

  • Where are you based?

    • Our HQ is based in Belton, nr Doncaster, DN9, however we also have foster homes. Unfortunately we are not open to the public.

    • We can occassionally help transport surrendered piggies to us and have accepted guineas in need from York, Newcastle, Lincoln, Sheffield, Derby and Leeds to name a few.

  • How can I apply to adopt piggies?

    • If you have seen a pig/s on our page that you'd like to apply for, please either message the Facebook page, email us or fill in the form on the website.

  • What is your recommended adoption donation?

    • For young piggies, we recommend a minimum donation of £30 for a single entire pig, £40 for a single neutered pig and £50 for a pair of pigs.

    • Older pigs (aged 4+) have reduced adoption fees, please enquire about this.

    • All adoption fees, rescue donations, and fundraising goes directly back into the charity to help other piggies.

  • Can I donate veggies?

    • Yes! We are always very grateful for veg drops. Please message the Facebook page for a list of suitable veggies and the address.

  • How can I get more information?

    • Please have a look at the rest of the website, or contact us via email or Facebook.
